WDXD suffers damage from Hurricane Hermine

During the evening and overnight hours of Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, Hurricane Hermine hit the Florida gulf coast as a Cat 1 storm. Tallahassee suffered extended power outages, downed trees, and other damage.

Unfortunately, one of our FM antenna bays was damaged. The top bay is twisted, and appears to be touching the tower. A tower climber has been contacted in hopes he can help assess the damages.

WDXD is off the air while we explore options to repair the damage.
