WDXD-LP 101.9 radio celebrates 3 years of broadcasting in Tallahassee.

Delta Star Radio of Florida, Inc., the nonprofit organization founded in April of 2001 with the mission of "working to provide quality radio to the Tallahassee area" has been broadcasting for three years as of July 27, 2017. WDXD-LP 101.9 is authorized for 33 watts effective radiated power on 101.9 FM, with an antenna height of approximately 53 meters (169 feet.) There is a possibility of a power increase to 88 watts effective radiated power, which requires FCC approval. We are also pursuring the possibility of having our signal rebroadcast via translator. We do not need to own the translator necessarily; an owner could simply change the primary originating station and file that change with the FCC.
