I want to take a moment to clarify our sponsors and underwriters guidelines for WDXD.

This site originally was for the Internet-only Big D Country station, which could accept traditional advertising. Some portions of the site still need to be changed. When I attempted to edit the page headers, for some reason I couldn't edit them. Eventually I will figure it out.

Underwriters are businesses and individuals that support the station. It is not really about marketing and advertising. It is about supporting the effort to bring a unique radio station, format, and programming to Tallahassee.

Our programming will include:

Country/classic country/crossover MOR (Monday-Saturday)

Local community programs (Saturday)

Classic contemporary Christian music (Sunday)

Southern and country gospel (Sunday evening)

Announcements may not contain calls to action or qualitative statements. They may include business name, address, phone number and website.

For those who have made donations of goods, and/or financial contributions, thank you very much. It is very much appreciated. I still need to raise around $9,400 to complete construction of WDXD. 

Here we are nearing the end of June. We have purchased the building, the tower, most of tne studio equipment and have things lining up as we prepare for WDXD on the FM dial.

To help with construction, I am looking for at least seven sponsors of $1500 each. This will help with the purchase of the transmitter, antenna, EAS, and tower construction. This will also provide the underwriter with one year of underwriting announcements.
